Freedom

In the mainland, one lacks the freedom to watch commentary critical of the central government on television, but has the freedom to purchase pornographic DVDs at the local supermarket.

Conversely, for all the economic freedom that Hong Kong is supposed to enjoy, every other ad on television is a public service announcement. And the amount of street ads for local councillors and representatives would be lambasted for being a waste of taxpayer money in North America.
