Cool but not Cold

In the aftermath of the Tube and bus bombings, a lot has been written about the stiff upper lip and calm resolution than Londoners have developed in all their testing times. I feel that one should be careful not to get overdone in the talk and imagine Britons as a bunch of heartless automata, but as a nation they certainly are a strong bunch.
