200 Year After Trafalgar, The French Still Can't Win

I woke up this morning to read a story in the National Post about Jacques Chirac getting badgered about dissing English food, and I was wondering whether there's a slight chance that the Paris 2012 bid might not win today, contrary to my expectations.

Go figure. Goes to show that you can't dismiss gut instincts.
