Progress
Total Coalition fatalities in Iraq in March 2005 was 40 (33 from hostile fire). This is the lowest total and hostile fatalities count since February 2004. Wounded figures show a similar trend.
While the sacrifices of those who died and were hurt this month, like every month since the beginning of the war, are unfortunate and irreplacable, it is heartening to see that less young men and women will have to give the ultimate sacrifice for the safety of the people of the world.
